I am so thrilled to say I’ve been shortlisted for best blogger in the British Cruise Awards 2018.
I have been running my blog, Sparkx.org, for a few years, as well as being active on social media, including on Twitter and Instagram. In that time I have also written for Cruise International Magazine, as well as contributing to a number of other blogs and publications, including including for Meet Me On Board and Cruise 1st. In 2016 I was also featured on the Cruise Channel with the delightful Julie Peasgood.
Balancing this with a full-time job and other matters can be challenging at times but very rewarding. Through all this it’s great to see how both my blog and I have grown. I am so grateful for the nomination and for those who continue to support me.
The other writers shortlisted as best blogger include Becky Wiggins (Englishmum), Dave Monk (Ship Monk), Scott Sanders (The DCL Blog), Gary Bembridge (Tips For Travellers), Emma Leteace (Cruising isn’t just for old people), and Jamie Robbins (Travel Blogger Jamie). Good luck to everyone!
