Celebrity Cruises have unveiled the next chapter in the evolving story of Celebrity Edge.

When she debuts, Celebrity Edge looks to reinvent what it means to cruise. With a radical design, innovative new features and reimagined balcony staterooms, Edge truly is a ship to watch out for when she sets sail in late 2018. For my in depth look at what we know about the ship visit here.

Celebrity have now revealed the various food and drink offerings on board, and I for one am really excited.

Overall Celebrity Edge will have 29 restaurants on board, as well as 11 bars and lounges.

Celebrity Edge will have four main dining venues – Cosmopolitan, Cyprus, Normandie and Tuscan-all embracing Celebrity’s legacy. Cosmopolitan is a nod to the exciting main dining rooms found on the Solstice Class ships, featuring a chic environment.  The Normandie, featuring wooden panels from the famous liner, is a nod to the lines Murano French restaurant, while Tuscan is another nod to Tuscan Grille Italian venue found on the rest of the fleet. Finally, Cyprus pays homage to the line’s Greek heritage and will feature a variety of Mediterranean food. I’m very excited to try all of these.

Each of the four main venues will serve the same signature dishes found across the fleet, which change nightly. Each will also offer a special selection of dishes to showcase the venue’s concept.

In addition to this, there will be a number of other complementary offerings across the ship including the Oceanview Cafe, the Mast Grill, the Grand Plaza Cafe, The Spa Cafe and Juice Bar, and Eden Cafe. Aquaclass guests will also have the option of dining at a reimagined Blu restaurant, and Suite guests have access to the lines signature venue, Luminae.

The ship will also offer a whole range of new speciality dining venues. This includes an upscale dining experience at the Fine Cut Steakhouse. Enjoy Barbeque food at the Rooftop Garden Grill or get sinful at the Eden Restaurant (previously revealed here). Raw on 5 is described as offering a blend of St Tropez and New England seafood, and will be able to take advantage of the Magic Carpet when it is ‘docked’ on deck 5. Finally, Dinner on the Edge, will be provided on the Magic Carpet when it is positioned at the very top of the ship. This experience will draw upon the various ports of call the ship is visiting, producing a varied and exciting, locally crafted menu.

There will be 11 bars on board, including the popular Martini Bar, found pride-of-place in the centre of what’s called the Grand Plaza.
