Enchanted Princess has entertainment and activities to suit everyone’s wants and needs. Let’s take a look at the offering over the typical day on board.
During the day
Throughout the day there’s a plethora of activities taking place across the ship, including trivia, quizzes, dance and fitness classes and many more. You’ll find so much on offer when you look at the daily activities (found in the Princess Patter newspaper or on the3 Medallion App). Activities as you would expect are focussed around the social hubs of the ship, including the Piazza, Princess Live! Lounge and Vista Lounge.
Around the main pool space you’ll also find the main sail-away parties for the cruise. On our 7-night cruise, we had two sail-away parties, one leaving Southampton and another later in the cruise (weather permitting).
You could also choose to do absolutely nothing. And that’s fine too, grab a book or a nice drink and take in your surroundings in one of various lounge spaces on board, or grab a sun lounger and watch the endless horizon
There are also plenty of opportunities to indulge in immersive experiences such as expert cocktail making classes, wine tasting and other activities.
During the night
In the evenings put your glad rags on as the ship comes to live with entertainment. On our 7-night cruise we had two formal nights, while the rest of them were smart casual.
There’s a lot to do in the evenings, whether that’s having pre- or post-dinner drinks, enjoying the casino or some of the live music features throughout the ship. If live music is your thing, then I truly recommend spending time in Take Five, while features jazz music on a nightly basis.
Of course, you can also head to the Princess Theatre and enjoy a high-calibre west end style shows which have been crafted by some of the world’s top directors and choreographers. We saw two on board Enchanted Princess, Rock Opera and 5 Skies, and both were so good. The cast was amazing and so talented. If you can, I always recommend trying to see at least one of the shows on board, you will not be disappointed.
In the theatre you can also expect to see a number of headliner acts, from live music, to magic, jugglers and many more. In fact, Princess also offer a range of themed cruises with celebrities and personalities on board performing shows and giving talks throughout the cruise.
This cruise was in fact a Comedy Stars Themed Cruise, with a number of award winning comedians performing, such as Rory Bremner, Lucy Porter and Ardal O-Hanlon throughout the cruise – it was a lot of fun to watch.
And of course, if you are a night owl there are a number of late night activities and quizzes, together with some pretty talented karaoke, or why not dance the night away
You can’t talk about the entertainment on board without talking about Movies Under the Stars. Out on the top deck around the main pool, you can cosy up under the stars with freshly popped popcorn to watch blockbuster films, concerts and other events under the big screen.
So, what would you get up to on a Princess Cruise? Let me know in the comments and on social media.
