As one of the most anticipated upcoming ships (as featured here), Seven Seas Explorer will be the most luxurious ship launching in 2016, and arguably become the most luxurious cruise ship in the world with upmarket staterooms and an impressive line-up of facilities and gourmet restaurants.
Explorer will continue the traditional décor featured on all its ships but with a twist of modern contemporary ambience. With its art deco styling, the Constellation Theatre will host a range of activities through the day. Following a similar theme, the Great Gatsby inspired Observation Lounge will afford views across the bow of the ship. New to the line will be a new French-inspired culinary arts centre, enabling passengers to take a range of culinary classes.
Suites
The 750 passenger, 54,00-ton, ship will feature 374 all-balcony suites throughout with 9 types of stateroom. The various tiers of suites all have different inspirations and colour palettes. From the Hampton inspired Superior/Concierge suites, to the sapphire inspired Penthouse Suites, the Seven Seas Suites with golden accents, or the emerald inspired Grand/Explorer Suites.
The crown jewel in terms of staterooms, and perhaps the grandest ship suite in the world, will be the Regent Seven Seas Suite situated at the top front of the ship and affording views 270 degrees. The 2,917-square-foot suite will feature a glass enclosed winter garden as well as an in-cabin spa with access to all the facilities of the main spa.
